NETWORK PURPOSE
The ISEN Network
aims at implementing mechanisms of social entrepreneurship for the citizens’ economic empowerment while establishing cooperation between the following parties: public authorities, civic society organizations, social enterprises, individual experts, academia, private companies, beneficiaries and other relevant stakeholders. The network members intend to strengthen inter-sectoral partnerships for the social and professional re-integration of the disadvantaged groups, subsequently contributing to the local communities’ empowerment, based on the principles of mutual support, collaboration and solidarity.
NETWORK BENEFITS
If you wonder why you should join this global growing network here are some of the envisaged benefits of the solidarity economy network whereby we will find mutual support in:
- finding partners for Erasmus, Visegrad, COSME, EASI, IPA, Creative Europe and other international projects
- exchanging good practices via study visits

- creating connections with other international networks
- creating connections with the UN SDG goals for greater social impact
ENVISAGED ACTIVITIES
The envisaged activities of the network are:
- To organize regular informative, dissemination and validation meetings and training sessions for the members (online or via projects)
- To function as a link between stakeholders, promoting dialogue and information sharing and where possible, organise common actions
- To support, to the extent possible, participants’ activities related to solidarity economy implementation with the available resources, promoting the exchange and gathering of good and bad SE practices
- To gather SE-related consultation and training offers to the target groups of public institutions, CSOs, social enterprises and private companies
- To actively participate in roundtables, meetings and seminars organized in the framework of the network or other networks and projects
- To draft annual recommendations for the EU and national policies on se development and where possible, create connections to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals
